Mr. Doerr is Co-Managing Partner of Patrick | Doerr. Mark is a litigation and intellectual property lawyer who litigates major disputes and intellectual property matters across the United States, with a focus on New York City.

Mark evaluates, investigates, litigates, and resolves major disputes, usually regarding deceptive practices and fraud, RICO claims, and myriad tort and contract claims in federal and state courts. Mark’s work also regularly involves state and federal Constitutional issues.

​

As an intellectual property lawyer, Mark advises clients and litigates cases involving trade secrets, trademark infringement and prosecution, and other unfair competition-related claims. Mark also represents businesses and individuals in First Amendment matters, involving defamation, false light, rights of publicity, and other reputation and freedom of speech related cases.

​

A happy New Yorker, Mark serves New York City in several ways. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association’s New York City Affairs committee. He provides pro bono legal services to individuals in New York and New Jersey immigration proceedings. He serves as legal adviser to and is a Board member of the Washington Square Park Conservancy.

Mark is co-chair of the New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s AI, Cybersecurity, and Digital Technologies Committee.
